GO GREEN!
No, I'm not a staunch Duck fan (for those of you who live in Oregon) although over half my family are duck fans. Go Beavs! What I'm talking about today are ebooks. There is no paper trail, no tree killing, and no storage problem.
So what does a person do when they like to curl up on the sofa and read their favorite story?
What do we do when we have no more space to store out favorite books?
Can we find comfort reading from the computer? How does one curl up in front of a computer anyway?
In this economy, how do we find the loose change to buy a paperback a week to feed our habits?
Any suggestions or comments? All are welcome.
Christine
Because I am an aged great grandmother I still prefer to cozy up in the 'Big Chair' in front of the fireplace to read. However, I watch my family texting, locating all types of information on their computers, watching movies and so having a novel on their computer is not all foreign. I am a 'green' person and I see the value of the e-books in our ecology plus this is a new age and if I were younger I am quite certain that I would be doing the same. Just to experience this I have ordered an e-published book from Chris. Go Green!
ReplyDeleteHooray for you, Scottish Lass! You sound like a very hip great grandma. I'm also a grandma--but haven't reached the great status yet.
ReplyDeleteI still love my paper books, mostly autographed ones from friends who are authors. But Christine is so right about cost, storage and saving those beautiful trees. It's exciting to be riding the wave of e-books into the future!
