I was watching the news the other day when a story came on that had me scratching my head and wondering what the heck has happened in the schools.
The newscaster stated the school board is considering whether teaching script writing in school should be started again. When did they stop teaching the art?
Apparently soon after I graduated. I know I've been signing my grandchildren's birthday cards and a year ago my 13 year old grandson asked what it said. I still write some of my stories with pencil and paper and use script. It's faster and flows easily.
I hope this is not another item from my youth relegated to a 'hobby' status. Are you still able to write script?
