BLURB:

We all have undesired addictions we want to let go of. We try and try, but end up failing again and again. But what if the only reason we are going in endless circles of failure is the method we use to let go? Imagine you have access to an effective manual full of mental and practical exercises, the manual that's gonna help you get rid of your bad habits. Who says we don't have one? Now we do . . .

It's the book that changes the chemical reactions in your brain by reprogramming it. It will cause you to let go of whatever harms you spontaneously, just like taking a course of medicine to let you eventually quit your bad habits effortlessly, and, most importantly, enjoyably. It works very effectively, as this book contains a real story for a specific method with defined exercises and calculated steps. The method has been applied to several people, and it cured them completely.

EXCERPT:

“Focus on your goals, not your fear.

Focus like a laser, beam on your goals.”

—Roy T. Bennett

I received a story by email talking about one of the prisoners in the time of Louis XIV, who was sentenced to death and imprisoned in the wing of a castle. On the last night before his execution, Louis XIV decided to apply a weird trick. The prisoner was shocked when he saw Louis coming into his cell with the guards, giving him a way out! He told him, “I will give you a chance. If you can use it wisely, you can get out of here! There is an exit in your wing that has no guards. If you can find it, you can get out, but if you can’t, the guards will come after sunrise to take you for your execution.”

As soon as the guards un-cuffed the prisoner and left the cell, he started to search for an exit. The cell contained a couple of rooms and corners, and the prisoner was full of hope when he found out hole covered by an old mat on the floor. Once he removed the mat, he saw that the hole led him to stairs that went into a tunnel and eventually came to a ladder that lead upstairs. He kept going up and going down until he started to feel the outside breeze, which filled him with more hope and happiness. In the end, he found himself in the high castle tower, where he could barely see the floor. This was definitely not the way out. He went back to his cell disappointed, but he was still sure that the emperor was not lying to him. While he was sleeping on the floor, he suddenly had an idea. He hit his hands on the floor and found he was able to move one of the stones in the floor. He quickly jumped up and started to push the stone, finding a very small tunnel, into which he could barely fit. As he started to crawl, he kept hearing the flux of water, getting his hopes up again that maybe... Just maybe... The castle was near a river, but in the end, he found himself confronted with a locked window. He sadly went back to his cell and tested every stone. Perhaps there was another stone that would take him out. He kept trying and searching, and every time he discovered something new like a new window or a new curvy tunnel, he got new hope, but in the end went back to point zero. All of his attempts were useless.

Finally, the night was over, the sun has risen, and the emperor came back. He told the prisoner, “I see you’re still here.” The prisoner replied: “I expected you to be honest with me, Emperor.” The emperor told him, “I was honest.” The prisoner replied, “I searched everywhere in the wing, but I found no way out.” The emperor said, “But your cell door was open!”

Although we are not sure how precise this story is, it indicates an important concept, which is that imagining the obstacles may make us forget the open paths, and it may push us toward negative thinking, just like what happened with that disappointed prisoner. He formed a negative energy that exhausted his body and hindered any advancements. Studies show that optimistic people have higher success rates compared to pessimistic people, and that pessimism increases the probability of negative consequences, physically and emotionally.
