This is the Rogue's Angels weekly check-in. Every Thursday we encourage the Angels and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.
How well are you doing?
Had problems this week? That's ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don't let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.
Every word is one word closer to the finished product.
Had a great week? Keep it up, the momentum is on your side.
I wrote a couple of pages last week, not what I had hoped but I did get edits for one book completed and I'm working on edits for another book. I don't seem to be able to transition between two books. I can only focus on one.
Hey, Allana! A couple more pages is still forward motion! And keeping those edits moving will make readers happy. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm officially doing edits to book #6 of my LEGACY series. Hooray! My first step when I've been away from a work-in-progress for awhile is to read through the manuscript and make more notes of ways to deepen the emotions, the plot, the conflict--make everything about the story richer. This time, that means more research. So I'm reading real-life stories of burn survivors and watching videos of firefighters to augment the personal interviews I've already done. Intriguing stuff that has my mind overflowing with new twists for this book! I'm having great fun!
Hope everyone else has a productive writing week!
I did some worked on my WIP. My progress is slower than I want. My goal for this coming week, besides writing, is to write down a schedule including time to write.
DeleteAllana and Amber the two of you sound very productive. I'm impressed. Keep up the good work.
Hey, Cinnamon! You're still making progress, so hooray! Good luck with getting cooperation from your family on your schedule. :)
