My wings are quivering! I'm sitting in my office trying very hard not to bounce off the walls. For my BFF's birthday, she is taking ME to see Trans Siberian Orchestra!
Whoop! Whoop! How I got so lucky I don't know.
We're doing a much needed 'girls' day. We'll be going to the early show and having dinner at the restaurant a friend of hers owns. We try to do these get-together days as often as we can, but life being what it is, both of us have too many things on our plates.
So... my suggestion to all of you is TAKE a day with your best friend and housework, husbands and kids be darned. If we're not nice to ourselves, how can we expect others to be nice to us?

Your adventure sounds wonderful. You are absolutely right. We all need a special day for ourselves, particularly at this time of year. Have loads of fun.
