When I bought a new vehicle several years ago, one of the salesman's selling points was it had heated seats. I laughed.
I had been driving a Jeep Wrangler. Basic transportation with an engine, two seats in front, a back seat that could be removed, a canvas top, windows that unzipped--until the zippers broke--and a heater that usually kept the driver warm if the winter weather wasn't too cold.
However, I needed more room! To haul grandkids, several dogs, and camping equipment up the mountain for overnight stays. So I ended up buying a Jeep Commander with all the bells and whistles, as the saying goes. Definitely more room. And heated seats.
Didn't take me long to become addicted to the comfort of that heat. On cold mornings, the seats warmed up before the engine did. On slightly cool days when I only needed a bit of warmth, the seats were perfect. When my back was achy, the heat of those seats felt soooo good!
So now I have three ideals for a vehicle:
1) It runs well.
2) It's paid for.
3) It has heated seats--my comforting miracle.
my miracle for today would be to get caught up on my blogs. But I have other things to do first.
