Thursday and It's the Weekly Check In

Thinking of Genene and all her doggies.

This is the Rogue's Angels weekly check-in. Every Thursday we encourage the Angels and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.

How well are you doing?

Had problems this week? That's ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don't let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.

Every word is one word closer to the finished product.

Had a great week? Keep it up, the momentum is on your side.

I've finished edits for Rebel Heart and I'm working on edits for Sharks which will be out as a novella on Amazon as soon as I'm satisfied with it.

  1. LOL, Allana! Don't think I've ever caught one of my doggies looking quite like this. Of course, many things could be going on behind my back!

Congrats on finishing edits for REBEL HEART! Always a good feeling to get to that point. And I'm looking forward to the release of "Sharks" soon!

Progress last week--yes! I'm still working through "almost finished" edits to the fifth book of my LEGACY series and did copy edits to the third book. I also took some time to prepare for the release of the second book, LEGACY OF ANGELS, on May 1 as well as celebrate!

Also had one of my novellas, "Chasing Rainbows," as a free download on Kindle for three days. I got hooked on watching its movement up and down Amazon's bestseller lists--something I never thought I'd do. But I learned some things in doing that and I've gone back to other things since this story is no longer listed a free promo, so guess I'm recovering from that obsession. :)

    Coming up this next week:
--I'm looking forward to the blog tour for LEGACY OF ANGELS, which starts next Monday, May 7. My list of stops is posted on my LEGACY blog **http://oshealegacyseries.blogspot.com/** which also has new info about this release and its characters.

--I'm also participating in an online scavenger hunt with over 70 other authors. Great prizes including several Kindles and lots of gift cards. (Link to details also on my LEGACY blog. This will take some time to find the answers to questions so don't wait until the last minute if you want to enter. :)

--And I want to finish edits to book #5 of the LEGACY SERIES, as well as wrap up two more book covers for other authors.

Another wonderfully busy week coming up! Hope everyone has a good writing week!

  2. Allana & Amber I'm impressed with your work. As for myself I'm very frustrated. I've been babysitting on my days off so I've been working about 6 days a week with very little writing time. Once this scheduled babysitting is over I'm making time for my writing even if I have to run away from home to do it. Yes I'll have a little whine with my cheese.
