This is the Rogue's Angels weekly check-in. Every Thursday we encourage the Angels and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.
I finished the edits for Highland Magic and I'm pleased to announce that the book is now up for sale. I have been promoting my vbt virtual blog tour and I'm hoping the result will be in sold books. I have blogged so much I can't keep anything straight. I think it would be easier if I was only responsible for one blog. Sigh...
I am layering my anthology called sharks but that name is not sticking. Think I will go with something like The Twist. Not the dance. Maybe that won't work. Or perhaps I am dating myself.
How well are you doing?
Had problems this week? That's ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don't let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.
Every word is one word closer to the finished product.
Had a great week? Keep it up, the momentum is on your side.
I can finally post on the Weekly Update!
ReplyDeleteI finished my revisions on Dracula's Secret and got it back to my editor!! Now, back to work on Book Two.
I'm super stoked. :)
Hi, Chris/Allana! A great week for you! Congrats on finishing the edits on HIGHLAND MAGIC and getting it up for sale! So pleased to see that. I know what you mean about a title for your anthology story. I sometimes chase titles around for months. Looking forward to positive results on your virtual blog tour!
ReplyDeleteLinda, congratulations on finishing edits and getting your book back to your editor! Hope you took a few moments to celebrate before diving back into the second book. :)
Today is release day for THE LEADER OF THE BAND, the third in my Rock'n'Romance trilogy! I've been doing promotion for that series, though not as many blog stops as Chris. :) I'm also closing in on final edits for the third book of my LEGACY series. Should have those done by the end of the week.
More promotions and edits coming up next week!

Congrats to every one. It looks like we all had a busy and very productive week. Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteMy computer is still not working and may never be functional again. Fortunately my hubby has been able to save my story. So I'm back working on my revisions. I've learn a valuable lesson, one I should have learned when Allana had a similar experience. Copy your work and your hard drive. You never know when your computer will have problems.
ReplyDeleteRosemary/Cinnamon, so glad you were able to recover your story! And, yes, it's time for me to back up files on my computer also!

Had my eyes examined this date and got a couple of unpleasant surprises. I developed a sensitivity to light because of the drops and was down in a dark room all afternoon. Not good but due to a pronouncement by the Optometrist, I find myself focusing [sorry for the pun]on my writing with a vengeance.
ReplyDeleteTime is of the essence...
