Join The Weekly Check In.

This is the Rogue's Angels weekly check-in. Every Thursday we encourage the Angels and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.

My week has been busy. I've done some editing of my April Fool's anthology, I've seen The Wager receive a beautiful new cover (thank you Genene) and now it is rereleased. Woohooo!!! I'm working on Highland Song the last of the Highland series and continuing on my Virtual Book Tour.

I'm looking forward to another busy week, blogging, shopping and editing.

How well are you doing?

Had problems this week? That's ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don't let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.

Every word is one word closer to the finished product.

Had a great week? Keep it up, the momentum is on your side.

  1. Well I tried Nano this year and by the end of November I had 61,000 plus in my book titled A Murder in her past...
Now I'm in the editing stage and I'm hoping it won't be too painful...
    How is everyone else doing?
Oh I found out my last book through Rogue got a five cup review! How awesome is that?

  2. Wow, Chris! Very productive week for you! That's great!

Kim, great word count for NaNo! Congratulations! Congrats also on the five cup review. Do you have a link to that? I also wish you happy editing. I actually like to edit, though I keep previous versions of my manuscript in case I change my mind. I also keep a separate document where I dump phrases or paragraphs or scenes that I cut. Because sometimes I use those bits and pieces in a different part of the story. Doing these things makes editing relatively painless for me because I know I can always go back to what I had before. I generally don't because the editing process makes a better story. However, knowing I could go back makes me feel better. Probably some deep psychological reason for that. LOL!

Wow! That turned into a long paragraph! Perhaps because I'm in editing mode. Just finished edits to book #3 of my LEGACY series, though I want to have a beta reader go through it for things I've missed. Then I'll update my databases for the series and start edits on book #4.

I'm also wrapping up my promotion push for my Rock'n'Romance series, then will have a few weeks of planning time before another promotion launch after the first of the year.

    Happy writing to all!
