Join The Weekly Check In.

I may have already posted this picture but it doesn't matter this one is a classic.
And I see Times Square -- so much the same but oh so different.

This is the Rogue's Angels weekly check-in. Every Thursday we encourage the Angels and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.

How well are you doing?

This week I finished up my VBT with goddessfish. All the prizes are awarded and sent. I started reading a RPP project for a March release but my list has grown a foot in just one day. I need quality time in front of my computer. I'm not sure I'm ready to start working again. Maybe I'll just relax until the 1st.

Had problems this week? That's ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don't let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.

Every word is one word closer to the finished product.

Had a great week? Keep it up, the momentum is on your side.

Happy Birthday Ashley!

  1. Merry Christmas!!! I've been so excited to check in this week. I've been experiencing a... down time putting my ideas on paper, so I walked away from my computer; a difficult task for someone who feels connected to the keyboard.
In the time away, I didn't fuss or fret or try to make the story fit to what I want it to say, I just relaxed. And a miracle happened.
My muse kicked my booty big time! In the last four days I've written 4,800 words or 8 pages!
And this is on a story I had put away! The motorcycle story has bubbled to the top and is spilling out on the page.
I know when I get the whole story completed, I'll be able to concentrate on my dragon story with a clear vision.
I really am dancing on my tiptoes. It's tough thinking you might not ever write again. I'm so happy!!!

  2. Sable, congrats on the return of your Muse-4800 words is awesome!

Allana, this photo is indeed a classic. However, I've been reading a book about the NY bomb squad and their prep and role in the New Year's festivities at Times Square that puts a different spin on this celebration. Interesting stuff! Hope you get some time to write.

I'm still working edits to the fourth book of my LEGACY series and updating the database tracking the plots of this series. It's wonderful how plot twists and turns unfold as the writing moves forward! More edits this coming week as well as planning for future promotion!
