Join The Weekly Check In.

This is the Rogue's Angels weekly check-in. Every Thursday we encourage the Angels and visitors to let us know how their writing is going.

How well are you doing?

I for one had a great week. I finished my April Fools Anthology sent it to my critique partner and I am now finishing with her suggestions. I decided on new covers for the Highland series and they should be done sometime in January. The angels are embarking on a promo to help their anthology sales a bit. We have a contest to begin January 1st. Check it out below. Hope next week goes as well as this one. Oh and I had 2 days with one of my granddaughters. She didn't want to go home. I guess she likes us

Had problems this week? That's ok. Just sit down this coming week and write. Whatever you do, don't let difficulties from the week before get in your way this week.

Every word is one word closer to the finished product.

Had a great week? Keep it up, the momentum is on your side.

  1. Great momentum on the writing and promo, Chris/Allana! A great jump-start for the New Year!

I also had a very productive week. Edits on the fourth book of my LEGACY series are going well. In fact, a new scene developed into one that provides vital information that will help solve the ongoing mystery of the entire series. Love it when the Muse and the characters are in sync and the story flows!

This is also a planning time for promotion. I was pleased with response to the re-issue of my Rock'n'Romance trilogy and have plans to continue that blog with fun info on classic rock bands.

This coming week, I'll be sorting through all the promotion opportunities for my upcoming LEGACY series that will start releasing in March. I'm really excited about this series and will be trying some new and fun promo strategies.

And, as Allana mentioned, the Rogue's Angels are promoting our VALENTINE'S and ST. PATRICK'S DAY anthologies. My contributions were romantic comedies--different than the more dramatic stories I usually write. I had a lot of fun with these and really enjoyed working with the other Angels to put together these anthologies! And doing promotion with other writers is a lot of fun!

And did we mention a chance to win chocolate? I have a booksigning scheduled at Moonstruck Chocolate on February 11 and plan to sample their merchandise. I'll make the sacrifice to be a taste tester for whoever wins the gift certificates to be sure it's really worthy of our honored commentors. :)

    Happy holidays and happy writing!
